The Marry YourSelf First!® Project seeks to partner with community organizations, businesses and corporations to synergistically create positive change in our communities, homes and schools, while also preventing domestic violence, addiction, depression and divorce.
While promoting and marketing Marry YourSelf First!® myself has been an exciting adventure, I’ve come to realize that partnering with others will create positive change much more effectively and efficiently.
Specifically, I am seeking Non-Profit Organizations who would like to use the Marry YourSelf First!® products (book, workbook and audiobook presently with many more products at various stages of development) as fund and awareness-raising vehicles.
A few of the many ways we can effectively partner with each other would include workshops, seminars and presentations; Marry YourSelf First!® banners with unique URL links on your website; email campaigns and webinars; free assessments; and articles in your newsletters.
The Non-Profit Organizations will receive a predetermined percentage (20-50% depending on the depth and breadth of the chosen product and/or service) of all product sales and admission fees made through this partnership.
Additionally, other Non-Profit Organizations (Addiction treatment programs, women’s shelters, rape crisis centers, etc.) will also have the opportunity to receive complimentary copies of Marry YourSelf First!® for their clients, patients and consumers, as I will be donating one Marry YourSelf First!® book for every book sold through this project.
Businesses and Corporate sponsors will have the opportunity to participate and support this project in many different ways and at many different levels. Realizing that each and every business has its own network of contacts (employees, strategic partners, directors and customers), there is an opportunity to participate and support this project on various levels, including: The simple broadcasting of Marry YourSelf First!® events through email; posting on websites and in-house fliers and posters; hosting events – presentations, seminars and workshops; sponsoring speaking engagements; having in-house training or purchasing Marry YourSelf First!® products for staff or as part of a customer loyalty program; or sponsoring a Marry YourSelf First!® book tour.
Both the Non-Profit partners and the Corporate sponsors will be encouraged to use all their media channels and connections to bring further awareness of this project to the public. Obviously a project of this nature will create much media interest and we’ll want to maximize this for as much exposure as possible.
One example of how this would work: Non-Profit organization (NPO) becomes a Marry YourSelf First!® partner. They put a discrete banner on their website which briefly explains the benefits of Marry YourSelf First!® and also explains that they are a Marry YourSelf First!® partner and all orders which are placed through the banner (embedded and unique URL – i.e. www.marryufirst.com/thisNPO) for any of the Marry YourSelf First!® products will result in revenue (between 20-50%, depending on agreement) for the NPO. The NPO also sends out an email to all its supporters, affiliates and sponsors, informing them of this program and encouraging them to invest in Marry YourSelf First!® and to also invite others to their site to place additional orders.
Corporation A also decides they want to be part of the program so they sponsor a two-hour introductory Marry YourSelf First!® workshop for the public. Again, an agreed upon percentage of all the Marry YourSelf First!® products sold and workshop admission goes back to the NPO.
In addition, NPO #2 (i.e. a women’s abuse shelter) also becomes a NPO partner and they receive one copy of Marry YourSelf First!® for every book sold during the campaign.
The author, me, also sends out announcements to all my contacts and to the media as well, as do both the NPO partners and the Corporate sponsors.
The result is WIN x 5: Everyone who invests in Marry YourSelf First!® WINS with the life enhancing tools and resources they receive; both NPO organizations WIN with the awareness raised, the revenue generated and the Marry YourSelf First!® books donated to their corresponding programs; the Corporate sponsor WINS with the great press they receive for being part of the project, as well as the free PR they get from new prospects; and I WIN because I sell a few books and continue the Marry YourSelf First!® project.
